Bike run planned Aug. 29 by Ashley’s Angels

Ashley’s Angels will sponsor a motorcycle run and lunch Aug. 27 at the New Kensington Eagles, 2134 Freeport Road.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and kickstands up will be at 10 a.m. Oakmont Bakery doughnuts and coffee will be served for breakfast. Cost is $25 per rider; $20 per passenger; and includes lunch. Tickets for the 1:30 p.m. lunch only are $20. There will be entertainment, a basket auction, cash bar and a 50/50 raffle.

‘Once Upon A Mattress’ to be performed at Casino Theatre

Armstrong Community Theater will present the musical, “Once Upon a Mattress,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Casino Theatre in Vandergrift.

Tickets are $17 and are available at Pomfret’s Paint and Variety in Vandergrift, online with a service fee at armstrongcommunitytheater.org, and at the door.
